NZONE Skydive Queenstown

Tandem Skydive with NZONE Skydive in Queenstown and see some of the most dramatic scenery in New Zealand from 9,000, 12,000 or 15,000ft! NZONE Skydive are New Zealand’s first tandem skydive operation, starting out in 1990 with over 250,000 tandem jumps to-date. NZONE Skydive Activity Options

It takes a certain kind of person to jump from an aircraft into thin air. It takes courage. Harnessed by space age materials to an experienced qualified Jumpmaster, you step out of that aircraft door and for some 60 seconds you plummet towards the ground at 200 kph – Terminal Velocity.

Choose from the following heights:

Exosfear – 15,000 feet
Stratosfear – 12,000 feet
Troposfear – 9,000 feet

After a 15 minute scenic flight to altitude, you will nudge towards the edge of the plane before taking the plunge! Keep your head up, smile at your skydive photographer and take in the stunning surroundings. After an exhilarating freefall, you will experience a 5 minute parachute ride, floating safely back down to the skydive drop zone.

Other Information on NZONE Skydive

Maximum weight is 115kg/253lbs. All persons over 95kg are subject to Tandem Master assessment at the drop zone. Persons 95kg -104.9kg will incur a weight surcharge of $50 and those 105kg-115kg a weight surcharge of $75.
The minimum weight is 30kg/66lbs and all passengers must be big enough to fit safely into the harness.
No age limits (parental/guardian consent required if under 18 years old)

Extras

Photos and video footage are available for purchase on site. Have a freefall photographer jump with a camera & video on their helmet and take home the most comprehensive photo pack in New Zealand! (Available for purchase upon check in only).

Duration

Allow 3 hours return from NZONE Centre, central Queenstown
Trips depart every half hour, starting at 7.00 am in winter and at 6.00 am in summer

What to bring

Warm layers and closed-toed shoes
You will be provided with a jumpsuit, hat, googles and gloves
If you wear glasses, NZONE Skydive have goggles that fit over top

Location

NZONE Skydive Queenstown is located 20 minutes from central Queenstown in a rural tranquil environment. Access to the drop zone is by courtesy coach departing hourly (weather permitting) from central Queenstown.
