All rental vehicles come with basic insurance cover. This means the hirer and authorised driver are indemnified for damage caused to the vehicle and third party property. In the event of any damage, including that to the windscreen or tyres, an Accident Damage Excess (ADE) applies.
The ADE for vehicle classes ECAR to FCAR is $2,990 and IFAR to XVAR is $3,450.
Accident Excess Reduction (AER) markedly reduces the Accident Damage Excess you will be liable for should any damage occur to the vehicle you rent.
Rates for the standard fleet (ECAR to ICAR) are $28.75 per day. This payment reduces the excess to $276. Rates for the specialty fleet (IFAR to FFAR) are $35.65 per day. This reduces the excess payment to $345.
A security deposit of NZD$250 will be taken as an imprint from the hirers credit card.

Rates for the standard fleet (ECAR to ICAR) are $35.65 per day. Rates for the specialty fleet (IFAR to FFAR) are $41.40 per day. This insurance package provides the hirer/authorised driver with nil excess.
