Milford Coach and Cruise

• Join Trips & Tramps for a memorable ‘un-hurried’ day excursion to Milford Sound
• Explore spectacular alpine scenery and enjoy a leisurely nature boat cruise on the fiord
• Small coaches, a relaxed timetable, see all the special places and avoid the crowds

Departs Te Anau daily
8.00 am October – April
with a 2 ½ hour Nature Cruise or 8:30 am May – September with a 2 hour Explorer Cruise.

Milford Big Day Out

• The premier day to Milford Sound combining walking, magical scenery and a 2½ hour boat cruise
• Depending on your motivations you can select from either an unguided 2½ hour hike on the renowned Routeburn Great Walk to Key Summit, or explore the Hollyford Valley with your experienced nature guide

Departs Te Anau Daily 8.00 am October – April.
Returns around 6:00 pm.

Kepler Track – Boat & Hike

• Experience an affordable and comfortable ½ day guided walk alongside beautiful Lake Te Anau walking through beech forest and open grassland
• Begin by travelling across Lake Te Anau by water taxi to Brod Bay, with its clear water and white sands
• From here enjoy a superb walk following the lake edge through beech forest, opportunities to view the rare flightless Takahē, native waterfowl, weka, parakeets, tui, kea, kākā and pigeons

Departs Daily 8.30 am or 1.30 pm.

Lake Marion

• This is an adventurous guided day excursion from Te Anau, hiking to Lake Marion amongst superb forest and alpine scenery
• The journey begins with a spectacular scenic drive along the Milford Road to the Lower Hollyford
• The hike starts with a gentle walk alongside a spectacular series of waterfalls, then steepens and becomes quite rocky underfoot as we ascend through a lush forest of fuchsia, ribbon wood and beech trees
• Stops for photographs, bird-watching and enjoying the scenery are regularly made along the way

Not suitable for children under 15 years.
Departs 8.00 am October – April.
Returns around 6:00 pm.

Luxmore Hut – Heli Hike

• Begin the journey with a spectacular Scenic helicopter flight from Te Anau Township, over the hidden lakes and beech forest of Mount Luxmore to arrive at Luxmore Hut
• On arrival enjoy the alpine tussock fields and panoramic views of the Te Anau basin and surrounding Fiordland Mountains
• Then descend through magnificent mountain and silver beech forest, and under towering limestone bluffs to the sandy beach of Brod Bay, the pick up point for the boat cruise back to Te Anau township

Gertrude Saddle

• This is an adventurous guided day excursion from Te Anau, hiking in the Fiordland mountains to Gertrude Saddle with unrivalled views of Milford Sound
• From Te Anau we take a very scenic drive along the Milford road for about two hours to the upper Hollyford Valley and the Alpine Homer Hut
• Rough and rocky underfoot the track follows the valley floor up to the imposing Barrier face, then commences a steep and steady climb to the chilled waters of the mystical Black Lake
• From the safety of the pass there are incredible views into the surrounding valleys, and down onto Milford Sound

Departs 8.00 am October – April.
Returns around 5:00 pm.

• Fiordland is an alpine area and subject to extreme weather
• Adverse weather, road or track conditions may require us to make alternations to or cancel trips
• Trips do not run on Christmas day
