Activity Options

Kaituna Jet

• Built for speed and safety, the Kaituna Jet will take you on a 30-minute thrill ride
• Start out with a 12.5 km journey up the spectacular Kaituna River
• Be prepared for a fast and furious blast back down river – 360 degree spins included!

Departs daily, every hour (on the hour) starting at 9am. Allow 45 minutes.

Mud Bug 4 Wheel Driving

• Get behind the wheel of a four wheel drive and get amongst it!
• Test your skills in complete safety & drive a Polaris Ranger 4WD around a specifically designed track
• Self drive or chauffeured by a Spring Loaded professional – Test your skills!

Change of clothes optional, safety equipment provided.

The Double Dare

• Kaituna Jet and Mud Bug 4WD. Jet boat along the beautiful Kaituna River then enjoy a 4WD adventure aboard a Spring Loaded Mud Bug. Allow 1.5 hours for this double experience.

Triple Tremble

• Kaituna Jet, Wet n Wild Rafting and Aerius Helicopters – Why not?!!!
• Jet boat the beautiful Kaituna River then fly over the majestic patchwork quilt of kiwifruit orchards to the coast and back to Spring Loaded Adventures before hitting the white water. Raft the ‘world’s highest commercially rafted waterfall’. X-TREME! Allow 4 hours for this experience.

The Rush

• Kaituna Jet and Wet n Wild white water rafting! Jet boat, the lower reaches and raft the upper reaches of the beautiful Kaituna River. You’ll get to plunge down two major waterfalls – in the raft not the jet boat!! Allow 3 hours for this experience.

Heli Jet

• Kaituna Jet and Aerius Helicopters.
• Combine a 10 minute scenic flight along the magical coastline with a fast and furious jet boat ride for a real adrenalin rush.

• Kaituna River Eels: Stroke freshwater eels from out of the Kaituna river. Did you know that eels can live as long as people? The oldest eel at Spring Loaded is 65.

• Off Track Cafe: Sit and enjoy the view as you relax in our fully licensed cafe.
