Half Day Wine Trail (Available all year round)

• Invest half a day with 4 of Marlborough’s most popular vineyards. Special interests? Please advise.
• Free time to enjoy Picton’s waterfront cafés, craft shops and museums
• Ideal for groups who need to keep everyone happy, offering a flexible slice of Marlborough’s charm
• Package price includes return travel with the Interislander
• Depart Wellington 8 am, returning to Wellington at approximately 9 pm

Group Marlborough Wine Experience (Available all year round)

• Travelling with a group of 8 or more people?
• This package allows you to customise your wine trail in consultation with Sounds Connection
• You will be picked up from the ferry terminal and chaperoned around Marlborough’s finest wineries
• Your Sounds Connection driver/guide will be on hand to provide gems of local knowledge
• Package includes a winery stopover for lunch

Gourmet Wine Experience (Available November to April, except Mondays)

• Depart Wellington 8 am, returning to Wellington at approximately 9 pm

• The vineyard tour starts at the family owned Herzog Winery, established in the early 1990’s, it is home to premier wines of the region, including world class Pinot Noir.

• Visit Johanneshof underground cellars where vintage harvests rest & mature 20 metres below ground in NZ’s first rock cellar. Taste one of the finest Methode Traditionelles in the Marlborough.

• After dining on a gourmet 4 course wine matched lunch at Alan Scott Wines, relax in the unique mud brick building and taste a range of wines – a taste sensation.

• At Grove Mill, experience a unique Aroma Demonstration. Smell the bouquets common to Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc. Taste fine wines matched with tasty morsels and see different grapes growing in Grove Mill’s unique Vine Library. Grove Mill also boasts a wonderful art gallery.

• The last sensational stop of the day is Makana Chocolate Factory. See craftsmen creating chocolates and taste the results.
