World Cup Ticketing Information "Rugby Fever"

Phase 1: Apply for Venue and Team Pool Packs

Phase 1 of the World Cup Ticketing Programme kicks-off on April 27, 2010, when fans from New Zealand and around the world can apply for Venue and Team Pool Packs.

  • Venue Pool Packs comprise one ticket to each World Cup pool match at a venue of your choice.
  • Team Pool Packs comprise one ticket to each World Cup pool match played by a particular team.

Fans who apply for a Venue or Team Pool Pack in Phase 1 will also have the option of adding to their application a Quarter-final Weekend Pack (one ticket to each 2011 quarter-final match in either Wellington or Auckland) and/or a ticket to the Bronze Final at Eden Park.

* Applications close 5 pm Friday May 21 2010.

Phase 2: Apply for Individual Tickets

The second public sales phase is expected to commence in August or September 2010.

  • Phase 2 of the World Cup Ticketing Programme will see a limited number of individual match tickets released. Fans will be able to apply for individual tickets for all matches except the Semi-finals & Final.

Phase 3: Semi-Finals and Final Ballots

  • World Cup Ticketing will run ballots in order to allocate available public tickets for the Semi-Finals and the Final at Eden Park. The ballots will be a random draw for the option to purchase tickets to the Semi-Finals and/or the Final.
  • Fans who apply for packs in Phase 1 or tickets in Phase 2 may choose in their application to enter the ballots for Semi-Final 1, Semi-Final 2 and/or the Final. Fans will receive one entry into each ballot they choose to enter for each ticket applied for during Phase 1 or Phase 2.
