Golf: The championship golf course designed by John Darby in consultation with Sir Bob Charles, is home to the New Zealand PGA and offers players a choice of 5 tee positions.

Fly Fishing: A resident fly fishing instructor and guide provides comprehensive practical lessons & can organise hire equipment and licenses to fish for the abundant brown and rainbow trout in the various lakes and streams at the resort (trout fishing season runs from 1 October through to 30 April).
