• A magical mix of mud, water and inviting trails – real off roading on sturdy 2-seater Go-karts

• The Go-karts are built for two people, perfect for younger children as they can ride as a passenger

• Journey into the forest through mud and puddles resembling small lakes with a ‘partner in grime ‘by your side! A fun way to get down and dirty! Drivers need to be 16yrs old

1 Hour 8WD Argo-Drenalin

• Hold on to your hats for an outrageous Off-Road adventure, as leisurely or exciting as you like!
• This unique amphibious vehicle makes a fantastic journey in and out of the water
• With purpose-built tracks, you will cross a creek, ride the ‘rollercoaster’ and spin on the spot!
• Suitable for all ages and with the friendly ‘Argonaut’ to drive you, you’ll hear fascinating tales of local history and interesting rainforest facts

Hagglund Rides West Coast

• On Yer Bike is now home to the Hagglund! The most extreme way to get off-road on the wild West Coast, a great fun Adventure for the whole family.

• You stay clean and dry whilst the Hagglund gets down and dirty, journeying through the mud and creeks, deep into the heart of the native rainforest. We cater to your tastes – from Mild to Wild!!

• These ex-military personnel carriers, are built for extreme terrain, with a top road speed of 50kph, an ability to climb or descend 2m vertically and safely handle up to 42” on a side slope, these vehicles are definitely the ultimate in land transport!

• An exhilarating adventure in this incredible Hagglund Military Machine through Mud and water
• Great fun for the whole family

1 Hour Wilderness Hot Tracks Hagglund Tour

• Venture deep into the native rainforest only accessible in Hagglund machines or on foot
• A forest safari, fun and suitable for all ages

Little Earth

• Home to Little Earth, a truly unique exhibition of indoor and outdoor model villages of real West Coast towns: Reefton and Waiuta, New Zealand’s favourite ghost-town. 

• 1930’s Waiuta is recreated at 1/12th scale with more than 250 buildings on 1 acre. Experience gold-mining history for yourself.

• An indoor model of the main streets of Reefton during the 1960’s is housed in the “Village Barn”.

• Visit the gnomes and fairies abound in the make-believe village of Gnomeland – an eccentric collection of “little folk’ to amuse the young and young at heart.

Kids $6  (5-15 years), pre-schoolers are free, Adults $12, Seniors and Students $9, Family Pass $28.

Departures

Tours run on demand from 8:30am until 5:00pm. There is not a set timetable, so choose a time that best suits and if it’s available then we will confirm the booking.

• GUMBOOT CAFE is open for refreshments including Devonshire Teas, Coffee, Ice Creams & Drinks
• Customer Bathrooms are also available

Other Information

• No Driver’s License or experience is required
• Helmets and Boots are provided and wet weather gear is available for a small hire charge

• WEATHER On Yer Bike’s Motto is “The Wetter The Better!” Tours run in brilliant sunshine or torrential rain!  It doesn’t’t matter when you are kited out in all the wet weather gear.

• GROUP SIZES The Argo and Hagglund requires a minimum of 2 Adult fares. The Argo has a passenger capacity of 5 adults or 7 children and The Hagglund carries up to 15 passengers.

• WHAT TO WEAR Wear casual clothing, but preferably not skirts or white clothing.

• PHOTOS & SOUVENIRS You can buy a photo CD of your adventures and a range of souvenirs – take home a memento of your adventures with On Yer Bike!

• ON YER BIKE! TRACKS The property is 50% native forest and 50% fair to rough grazing pasture.  Many tracks have been formed through the forest to give the feel of isolation and to capture the beauty of what it’s like deep in West Coast Rainforest.

• TRANSPORT If you don’t have your own transport, a free pick up and drop off service within Greymouth can be arranged!

You will find On Yer Bike just out of Greymouth. From Greymouth, drive to the Grey River and follow the signs towards Punakaiki and Westport on State Highway 6. After a 5 minute drive from the Grey River on State Highway 6, look on the left, you will see the signs.
