Queenstown’s G Force Paragliding is the only company permitted to fly from the Skyline Gondola over spectacular Queenstown and stunning Lake Wakatipu. G Force is one of the largest most established tandem operators in the world, and the longest standing in Queenstown.
Activity Options
Tandem Paragliding Flight
- Take the gondola up to the office…
- Check in…. (photos/video & merchandise available)
- Meet your pilot…
- Take a 10 minute walk up to your take-off point…. (a certain level of fitness is required)
- Here your pilot will put you into your harness etc.
- Take off procedure….
- 8-12 min’s of air time flying over Queenstown with views of Lake Wakatipu & The Remarkables….
- Soft landing in the field below
- You will receive your photos upon landing & return up the gondola free of charge if you wish…
- Includes a return Skyline Gondola ticket and set of 8 – 10 photos on CD ROM
Heli Tandem
Experience two of Queenstown’s most popular adventure activities and fly two ways over Queenstown! Heli Tours will take you for a scenic helicopter flight over Lake Wakatipu for a different view of Queenstown before landing at the Skyline Gondola to meet your pilot from G Force Paragliding, one of the largest, most established tandem operators in the world and longest standing in Queenstown.
From 2,000 feet high above Queenstown, you’ll take an exhilarating tandem paraglide flight, enjoying spectacular views of the Remarkables and surrounding region before your soft landing in a field in town.
Departures
- 9 am – Sunset
- 7 days per week (weather permitting)
Duration
- Tandem Paragliding Flight: 1 hour return from the bottom of the gondola
- Heli Tandem: 1 – 1.5 hours
Other Information
- What do I need? You will need sturdy footwear and warm clothing
- There is a short uphill hike to the takeoff site – a reasonable standard of fitness is required
- We do have weight restrictions in place (from 30kg – 100kg) depending on client fitness and weather conditions, heavier or lighter people can be accommodated on an individual basis
- Receive a G FORCE Perks card upon landing, offering fantastic deals around Queenstown
- DVDs available on request for an additional $20 – your pilot will discuss this option with you…
