• Early morning pick up at your accommodation

• Coastal cafe morning tea stop before arriving at Gumdiggers park where ancient Kauri forest was buried thousands of years ago (entry fee included)

• Drive along 90 Mile Beach with a stop to wet your feet

• Enjoy breathtaking views that go on forever as you drive along this highway of the North

• Climb the giant sand dunes and toboggan back down

• Arriving at Cape Reinga enjoy magnificent sweeping views where the Tasman Sea and the Pacific Ocean meet

• Fascinating commentary on the historical and cultural points of interest along the way

• Stop at the Ancient Kauri Kingdom

• Visit the world famous Mangonui Fish shop on the way home and grab the freshest fish and chips as the sea washes gently beneath your feet

• Dune Rider vehicle features: purpose-built off-road vehicle, air conditioned with lots of leg room and reclining seats, sloping floor giving the best views

7.30 am departing from the Wharf in Paihia, directly opposite the Explore NZ office. Hotel pick-ups are possible, please advise at the time of booking.
