Multi-Day Rafting Trips
Buller River (Easy), Grade 2-3 Rapids, 2, 3, or 5 Day Multi-Day Wilderness Rafting
Two, three and five day trips available – flexibility is the key. Suitable for the entire family.
The rapids on the Buller River are of medium level, grade 2-3, with flat water in between and only 1 short grade 4 rapid.
Minimum age 12. No previous experience required.
Mokihinui River (Exclusive Luxury Tour,) Grade 3-5 Rapids, 2 Days Multi-Day Heli Rafting
This river is situated on the Northern West Coast and features excellent trout fishing and continuous grade 4 rafting, with the occasional grade 5 rapid.
Riverside camping in the evenings or stay at the Rough and Tumble Bush Lodge directly at the take-out, so you can step out of the raft and into your accommodation.
Requires previous rafting experience or a high fitness level.
Karamea River Grade, 4-5+ Rapids, 1, 3, or 5 Days Multi-Day Wilderness Heli Rafting
Voted one of the top-ten wilderness expedition rafting trips in the world by Outside Magazine.
It is a big water river, with big rapids, still calm pools in between and a huge 800 meter rapid section called the Roaring Lion that has to be portaged in sections.
Enjoy world class trout fishing, and riverside camping, set deep in the Kahurangi National Park.
Fish for snapper in the evenings and enjoy whitebait or venison from your heli charter hosts.
Requirements: Previous rafting experience or high fitness level is required.
Waiatoto River, Grade 2-4 Rapids, 2 or 3 Days Multi-Day Wilderness Heli Rafting
Stunning mountain scenery in the heart of Mount Aspiring National Park. The first day on the water is fairly mellow with a few smaller rapids, then you setup camp beside a towering waterfall with world class trout fishing; where excellent food and drinks are provided to finish off the day.
Day 2 has all of the action, with plenty of grade 3-4 whitewater.
On the last day raft the Shark Tooth rapids and spend the rest of the day on grade 2+ water.
You can opt to jet-boat out on the last day for an extra $150 per person.
Requirements: Minimum age 12. No previous experience required. Good swimming ability is necessary.

Taipo & Wanganui Rivers Grade 3-5 Rapids 1 Day/1 Night Wilderness Hot Pool Heli Rafting
Both rivers have natural hot pools & whitewater rapids that are fun, technical, but not too hard.
Perfect for families, couples, or groups of friends seeking a scenic and thrilling adventure.
Requirements: Regular conditions are grade 3-4, and require no previous experience, though good swimming abilities are necessary. Flood conditions are grade 4-5, and require previous rafting experience or a high fitness level.

You Bring: Sleeping bag, swimsuit, towel, overnight requirements.
