Shore Diving Trips
- Dive HQ’s location on the Coromandel Peninsula provides access to some of the most beautiful beaches and ideal shore diving sites in the country.
- You can be taken shore diving on almost any day of the year, to sites sheltered from conditions that may make boat diving inaccessible.
Boat Diving Trips
- Dive HQ Whitianga are very proud to announce the arrival of their NEW purpose built dive boat.
- "SCUBA DOO" is a Stabicraft 759 Super cab trailer boat modified & designed specifically for diving, surveyed to carry 10 divers and two crew comfortably.
- With two custom built entry/exit platform railings and ladders, getting in and out of the water couldn’t be easier.
- Powered by a Yamaha 250 horse power outboard getting there and back again is a breeze. Less travelling time to the vast array of dive sites in the area means more bottom time for all.
- With fantastic locations such as The Mercury Islands, The Alderman Islands, The Cathedral Cove Marine Reserve and more Dive HQ can cater for the needs of any dive enthusiast.

Kayak Dive & Snorkeling Trips
- The kayak dive/snorkel trips are unique in that not only do you get to choose from many different dive/snorkel locations, you get to enjoy a leisurely paddle around some of the most spectacular scenery the Coromandel has to offer before, during and after the days diving/snorkelling.
- Kayak diving/snorkelling gives you the freedom to choose the dive/snorkelling site, get there under your own steam at your own pace, anchor and dive/snorkel to your hearts content or beach the kayaks and dive/snorkel from shore.
- The Marine Reserve has endless possibilities for diving and snorkelling, all teeming with marine life, perfect for exploring, photography and scenic dives/snorkelling.
- The kayak dive/snorkelling trips leave from Dive HQ Whitianga, a short drive to Hahei Beach, then gear up and paddle off. Everything is supplied including a dive/snorkelling instructor.
- You don’t need any specialty kayak training, just jump on and paddle. Dive HQ Whitianga are there to give you a safe and enjoyable dive/snorkel experience.

- Prices include complete gear hire, instructor and kayak transportation (if applicable).
- Trips depart at approximately 9.30 am and return at 4 pm or as suited to the individual(s).
- Adventures run subject to availability of leader/instructor.
