Abel Tasman National Park Multi Day Cruises

• Day 1: Sail into the sunset from Nelson to Torrent Bay, Abel Tasman National Park. Enjoy the night sky, visit the glow-worm caves and enjoy a delicious meal.

• Day 2: Breakfast in sun. Stroll on golden beaches or swim. Cruise the coastline close to shore. Maybe see dolphins, seals, penguins and bird life. Walk some of the coastal track, or ’sundowners’ and BBQ on board in the bay of your choice.

• Day 3: Enjoy another relaxing day in The Park. Maybe use the kayaks to explore the rocky outcrops or try your hand at fishing or snorkeling. Catch the afternoon sea breeze and sail back to Nelson.

D’Urville Wilderness Sailing Adventure – 5 Days

• Day 1: Sail to Abel Tasman National Park, overnight in Anchorage Bay.

• Day 2: Explore a little of the park and catch the afternoon sea breeze to reach across to Greville Harbour, D’Urville Island. Overnight in tranquil Mill Arm.

• Day 3: Explore the very rugged coastline between Greville Harbour and Port Hardy. Overnight.

• Day 4: Cruise around top of D’Urville Island through Stephen’s Passage. Visit the Rangitotio Islands. Overnight at Wilderness Resort, Catherines Cove.

• Day 5: Sail through French Pass tidal race, return to Nelson on the afternoon breeze under spinnaker.

Ultimate Cruise Abel Tasman, D’Urville Island, Marlborough Sounds 5 – 7 Days

• Day 1: Depart Nelson, sail to the golden sandy beaches of Abel Tasman National Park, relax in sheltered bay.

• Day 2: Explore magnificent bush and beaches of the park. Walk some of the coastal tracks. See dolphins, seals, penguins and bird life.

• Day 3: Sail across Tasman Bay to Greville Harbour, D’Urville Island; you can do a ‘watch’.

• Day 4: Enjoy the rugged beauty of D’Urville Island. Harvest fresh seafood for your dinner.

• Day 5: Sail through the tidal race of French Pass. Stopover at the Wilderness Resort for dinner and drinks.

• Day 6: Explore the many attractive bays in the Marlborough Sounds. Walking, fishing, swimming, feasting on greenlipped mussels, visiting the locals.

Abel Tasman National Park

• A great way to explore the Abel Tasman, depart and return direct to Nelson
• The launch trip takes approximately 1.5 hours from Nelson to Abel Tasman (vice versa)
• Spend the rest of the day in and around The National Park

D’Urville Island

• This rugged and remote island is only accessible by boat or air, with its steep cliff faces, luscious bush and winding natural waterways offering protective anchorage, it is truly a special place
• Enjoy sightseeing, fishing, diving, snorkeling, swimming, bush walks and the peaceful isolation
• To enjoy a most memorable time spend a night or two and really appreciate the isolation
• For groups of 8 or less, accommodation can be offered onboard the vessel
• Groups of 8 -18 people can be accommodated ashore at The D’Urville Island Wilderness Resort

* Motor Launch Whole Boat Prices from $1850 – $2300. Pricing based on 7 hour day with departure times arranged to suit you. Includes skipper, fuel, tea, coffee and juice refreshments. Catering can be arranged. 4 hours fuel per day is included in charter fee. Use in excess of this is charged extra ($150 per hour). We reserve the right to charge a fuel levy if fuel prices substantially increase from time of quote.
